Rachel is Looking for a Room to Rent

I'm a 28-year-old woman working in the tech industry, relocating from Seattle at the end of October to be closer to my team at work. In general, I love to be friendly with my roommates and share some mutual friends and acquaintances. I'm great at planning parties and gatherings (in my previous housing situation, roomie and I hosted an annual witch's tea party in the fall as well as regular Friendsgivings and New Year's Eve parties). I work remotely but don't like to be home all the time, so in the past I've split my time between working from home and going to libraries and co-working spaces when I need a change of scenery. I play roller derby, which keeps me out of the house regularly on some weeknights and weekends for practices and bouts. I also love getting out on evenings and weekends to explore my city, and I'm often up for company! Aside from planned social events, I don't tend to have people over and I don't generally have overnight guests, although I'm cool with guests on a semi-regular basis with communication and planning. I don't drink or smoke, but I'm 100% cool with alcohol in the apartment. I'm allergic to weed, so I tend to get sick if it's being smoked in the same room as me. I'm cool with it in the apartment if I'm not home or if it's in a separate room, and edibles are 100% fine! I'm a pretty clean and tidy person and I strongly prefer a no-drama situation where everyone picks up after themselves, so ideally roommates would also be naturally tidy people. I also love to decorate and the aesthetic of my space is important to me, so I would love a roomie who wants to collaborate and decorate a space we're both proud of.
