It is a 10 minute walk from the tube station, one stop to Stratford and 25 minutes to Oxford Circus (Central London). If you want to check out trendy Shoreditch or Hoxton its even closer. Your home away from home would be a quiet double bedroom at the rear of the house overlooking the garden. Feel free to chill out on the sofa in the cosy front room and watch a film or in the summer sit out on the patio. The kitchen is small but has all the standard stuff if you need to cook. If you don't want to go into Central London there are plenty of local places to eat and drink locally. If your feeling lazy there are great coffee shops, cafes, bakeries, pub and bars only a 5 minute walk of the house. It's a really well connected base to explore London and also gives you a chance to explore a real residential London suburb.
